Welcome Artists!

We would love to sell your art!

So nice to meet you! I’m an entrepreneur dedicated to connecting emerging, national and international artists with collectors. In fact, notifying an artist that a piece of art sold is the highlight of my day! The buyer is happy, the artist is ecstatic, and I’m thrilled to have connected the two.

Get exposure on eBay

I LOVE helping hard-working, heart-centered, talented artists discover how they can supercharge their sales in a professional way. By increasing their reach through the 182 million users on eBay, emerging and seasoned artists benefit with more exposure and sales. Together, we can get your art sold!

We sell your work

Selling art online is all the rage these days. If you are a bit shy or are tired of talking up your art to the lookie-loos that stroll into your booth at an art show, then eBay is a perfect platform for you. We write your listings, attract the buyers and all you have to do is ship it when it sells!

We really appreciate the quickness of Kelly’s responses! We have never tried selling on eBay and having someone so knowledgeable be able to help in the process has opened a whole new venue for us.

“works hard for the artists whose work she represents...”

Ivette Kjelsrud, Painter and Mixed Media Artist, Huson, MT

My experience with Kelly’s Collectibles has been extremely pleasant. Kelly is kind, fair, professional and works hard for the artists whose work she represents.

Frequently Asked Questions

1What is Kelly’s Collectibles and Online Art Gallery?
We have been selling collectibles and fine art on our online art gallery on eBay for over 15 years as a Top Rated Seller. We LOVE representing artists! Just leave the marketing to us while you do what you do best…create more art! Whether you paint, sculpt, are a photographer, make fine jewelry or pottery, work with glass, metal, wood or mixed media, we can showcase your art to millions of people.
2Why eBay and Paypal?
We chose the eBay platform because your art can reach up to 182 million users worldwide. eBay does more than just attract likes and followers. It converts shoppers to buyers. Paypal is a trusted and secured payment platform where buyers can send payment through their Paypal account or a credit or debit card.
3What does Top Rated Seller mean?
Reaching a Top Rated Seller status on eBay means that we consistently deliver outstanding customer service. To qualify, a seller must have 100 transactions and $1,000 in sales with US buyers over the past 12 months. We also get to use eBay's distinguished and trusted Top Rated Plus seal on our listings, something savvy buyers look for!

4Can I create my own eBay account and sell my own art?
Yes you can! Just keep in mind that new accounts have restrictions of 10 items or $500 worth of product per month. Each month you can call eBay and request to have your limits raised, which can take years to get to where you want to be. Our current seller limits are 20,000 items and $3.5 million, per month.
5Who is it for?
This may not be for everyone. It will work best for those creators who take pride in their work and produce quality art. It’s also for those artists who are passionate about what they do and have a story to tell. “People don’t buy what you do they buy why you do it.” –Simon Sinek. So what motivates you to create your art? How do you create your art? And more importantly why did you choose this path? Buyers love the story! This can all be captured in your Bio and Artist Statement.
6What types of art do you accept?
  • Paintings and Prints
  • Sculptures
  • Fine Jewelry
  • Photography and Digital Art
  • Ceramics and Pottery
  • Glass, Wood and Metal
  • Other mediums on a project-by-project basis
7How do you market my art?
Because we are a Top Rated Seller, eBay gives our listings precedence over other listings by placing them in the top search results. That means your art will be visible to more buyers. We also boost your art on our social media sites and introduce you and your art to our collectors via our Artist Highlight Series.
8What is your Artist Highlight Series?
We are so excited when new artists join our team that we dedicate an entire blog post just to them and their work. A link to this blog post is shared with our collectors via email and social media. It features photos of your work, your bio and artist statement. We also like to include a photo of you in your studio or of you creating your art.
9What formats do you use to list items?
  • Buy It Now:  Buyers can purchase your item immediately at the price we set. You must provide suggested retail price, which must be the same as your advertised price. This listing will remain live for the duration of your contract terms.
  • Auction: If your item is unique or the value is hard to determine, we recommend listing it in a 7-day auction. If no bids are received and the item expires, we will convert the listing to a ‘Buy It Now’ format. We start the auction at the minimum price you are willing to accept.
  • Make Offer: We suggest placing a “Make Offer” button on all listings as it encourages conversation and negotiations with a potential buyer.  All offers will be approved by the artist prior to acceptance.
10How long do you list my art?
How long we list your art depends on the plan you choose. As of January 1, 2020, we have three pricing plans to choose from. These one-time fees (not monthly) are charged when you sign up.
  • Basic Plan $99 - Up to 10 listings for six months. Commission split 50/50.
  • Standard Plan $179 - (Most popular) 11-20 listings for 12 months. Commission split 60/40 (60% to artist).
  • Premium Plan $279 - Up to 50 listings for an unlimited time. Commission split 60/40 (60% to artist).
11How does shipping work?
  • Artists who ship themselves are responsible for packaging and shipping the item safely to the buyer. If the item is too large to ship we will list it as “local pickup only or buyer arranges for shipping”. This gives us time and flexibility to prepare the item for shipment and arrange a shipping method. Or, if the buyer is local, they may arrange to pick up the item directly from you. As a Top Rated Seller, eBay requires we ship the next day (or on Monday if sold on Fri/Sat/Sun).  So by choosing “local pickup”, that gives us extra wiggle room around the next day shipping policy.
  • If we collect a shipping fee from the buyer, we will immediately email you a pre-paid shipping label to attach to the outside of the package.  A packing slip will also be included for insertion inside the package. If you choose to build the shipping cost into your retail price and offer free shipping, you will be responsible for shipping costs.
  • You must submit the estimated weight and dimensions of each item so the shipping rate can be calculated and inserted into the eBay listing.  This way, the shipping costs will be passed on to the buyer. NOTE:  As eBay and Paypal charge fees on their shipping costs, a 15% markup will be added to your estimated shipping cost.  Download our Record of Consignment Form.
  • You must submit your preferred shipping method (UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, etc.) as eBay requires the method to be indicated in the listing.
  • Shipping fees will be paid by the buyer unless the artist offers free shipping.
  • It is very important that you ship items within 24 hours after the buyer sends payment. If sold on Friday or Saturday or Sunday, item can be shipped on Monday. Late shipments affect our Top Rated Seller Status and will not be tolerated.
  • To protect all parties involved, we only ship to certain countries. This is also determined by which carrier you use and what their restrictions and requirements are. Contact us to discuss this further.
12How do I get paid?
  • We mail commission checks on or about the 15th of every month. Your payment will reflect the completed sales from the previous month. For example, if you have sales in March, your commission check will be issued on or about April 15th. This allows time for the buyer to receive the shipped item and to deal with any issues that may arise.
  • Payment Plans: Ebay and Paypal are now offering payment plans on randomly selected, higher priced items, such as art. This gives the buyer the option to apply for a PayPal Credit account, then pay in monthly installments.
  • Kelly's Collectibles will always be paid in full at the time of purchase, regardless of whether the buyer chooses a payment plan. Payments to artists will be issued as stated above.
13How much will I get paid when my artwork sells?
You will receive a percentage of the final sale price, which is determined in the Pricing Plan you select.

However, should we list your item for sale, then you sell it on your own, please contact us immediately so it can be removed from our eBay store.
16Consistent Pricing
