Acoma Sky City Native American Canteen Pottery

This is a most unusual Acoma Polychrome canteen. Used by Native Americans while working in the fields. It rests on its side so the liquid will not spill out. Comes with a matching saucer. Twine rope is attached to both handles.

Measurements:  5″ tall from bottom to top of spout / Saucer 4.5″ in diameter

Condition:  No cracks or chips. Several chips in paint on both pieces. Pencil marks on both pieces.
