Artist Statement

My goal when creating an acrylic painting is to draw the viewer into a world of unlimited imagination and for my paintings to be inspiring, uplifting, and evocative.

Artist Bio

During middle school, Claudette was accepted to the gifted class for arts program. Her artwork landed her acceptance to the prestigious High School of Art & Design in NYC. Claudette was a natural artist from the start and the education and training at the High School of A & D, only fortified her talent. Claudette continued her fine arts and illustration training throughout her college career at Lehman College, City University of New York. Finally, she enrolled in a post-bacc education at the Pels School of Arts, in New York City. A competitive program that allowed her to combine her drive for fine arts, illustration, advertising and graphic arts. Claudette's goal when creating an acrylic painting is to draw the viewer into a world of unlimited imagination and for her paintings to be inspiring, uplifting, and evocative.
