About the Artist: 

Virgia West was born in Washington state and lived part of her life there. She has also lived in California, Oregon and now Idaho where she resides with her husband and fellow artist Robert West.  Since most of her life has been spent in the north west and on the west coast, it is not surprising that her paintings depict the varied landscapes and wildlife of these regions.

Virgia paints in a traditional, realistic style. Her extraordinary use of color and attention to detail will give the viewer a sense of being in the story she captures with her paint brush.
